  • in the title bar of windows found in an Android application.
Ejemplo
// Display the progress bar
HourglassNetwork(True)
// Process
...
Multitask(-1)
...
// Hide the progress bar
HourglassNetwork(False)
Sintaxis
HourglassNetwork(<Activation>)
<Activation>: Boolean
  • True to enable the endless progress bar.
  • True to hide the endless progress bar.
Observaciones
iPhone/iPad

Operating mode in iOS

If HourglassNetwork is called with the activation parameter set to True, the endless progress bar will be displayed in the status bar of all opened application windows as well as all the next windows opened until the call to HourglassNetwork with the activation parameters set to False.
We recommend that you use HourglassNetwork when the application performs long network operations (transferring data via a wireless network, ...). In this case, this function should be used rather than Hourglass.
Remark: We advise you to add calls to Multitask in the code in order to give time to the progress bar to refresh its display.
Android

Operating mode in Android

If HourglassNetwork is called with the activation parameter set to True, the endless progress bar will be displayed in the title bar (or ActionBar) of all opened application windows as well as all next windows opened until the next call to HourglassNetwork with the activation parameter set to False.
Remarks:
  • When running long processes, we advise you to add calls to Multitask in the code in order to give time to the progress bar to refresh its display.
  • You also have the ability to use Hourglass. In this case, the endless progress bar is displayed in a specific window.
  • The display of progress bars in the ActionBar using the Material Design them is not supported by the system. HourglassNetwork will have no effect if the window contains an ActionBar control and if "Enable the Material Design theme" was checked in the options of the Android configuration.
